Full day tour of the globally acclaimed Sacred Valley. This includes a comprehensive visit of the Urubamba Valley’s top Inca attractions: the Archaeological Park of Saqsayhuaman, followed by Pisaq and Ollantaytambo’s Inca towns. Evening Train to Machupicchu Town, also known as Aguas Calientes - the main entrance to the historical Machu Picchu. Overnight in Machupicchu Town
After breakfast, you will take the bus to the famous Inca citadel of Machu Picchu, considered a Historic Sanctuary and one of the “new” Seven Wonders of the World. This is a three hour-long tour followed by free time for the rest of the day, either for exploration or resting. Lunch is on your own. We’ll return to Aguas Calientes in the afternoon, where you will have the option to enjoy the town’s exceptional thermal baths. Overnight in Machupicchu Town
After breakfast, we will take the train from Aguas Calientes to Ollantaytambo train Station, followed by a bus trip to Cusco. On the way back to Cusco we will stop in Maras, home to over 5,000 salt ponds, and in the Moray Experimental Center of Agriculture, with its circular terraces of Inca stonework. Afternoon is free. Transfer to the Bus station to go to Puno, known as the “capital of Peruvian folk music.” On the way we will visit Andahuaylillas, with its iconic Catholic Church, and Raqchi, which is home to outstanding archaeological ruins, with buffet lunch in Sicuani, the second largest city in the Cusco District. Reception and transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Puno
On this tour to Amantani, Uros and Taquile islands, you will be picked up from the hotel to the port. Our guide will then take us to the Uros floating islands, before reaching Amantani by around noon, where local families will welcome us. We’ll have a lunch meal provided by the islanders, followed by time for resting and settling in the rooms; then we’ll walk to the top of the island and see the ceremonial Inca temples Pachamama and Pachatata. From there we can also see one of the most beautiful sunsets in the world! Finally, we return to the local houses for dinner. At night, we go to dance with the families Overnight in Amantani Island
After our breakfast, we descend to the port of Amantani to take our boat to Taquile island. The island is famous for its textile craftsmanship, regarded as one of the finest in all of Peru. It is also home to an iconic archway, leading up to the island’s main square. Lunch at this island, followed by our return to the Port of Amantani. From there we return to Puno. Overnight in Puno
Transfer to Juliaca for your flight to Lima. En route visit to Sillustany, a pre-Inca cemetery dotting the lake with several distinctive tombs in the form of massive stone towers. Many of these towers, or chullpas, still stand after centuries of erosion. After the visit, reception at the Lima airport and transfer to your hotel. At night, we visit the magnificent water fountains of Parque de la Reserva, north of the Miraflores District, a hotspot for many tourists visiting the capital city. Overnight in Lima
Half day tour in the center of Lima, which harbors several awe-inspiring palaces, churches and balconies dating back to the Spanish colonial period. Afternoon is free for you to further explore the Peruvian capital. Late night transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
